Choosing a title for your personal blog

Trying to choose title for your personal blog? It can be difficult, specially for people, who have never start a blog before. Your always want your personal blog title to be very perfect and explain properly what the blog is about. Should be creative and put good impression on your blog readers. But question is how you can do that? Following article will explain you all about it.

Step 1

Title of blog should inform your blog readers that what your blog is about, and catch the attention of readers. It should be short in length, should include right key words for search engine traffic, should be unique and most important should have correct spelling. Keep all these six points on your mind when considering title for your personal blog.

write down all possible blog titles you have in mind on a piece of paper. Go outside, take a cup of coffee, then come back and write down some more titles. Then walk away from the paper for some few hours. Come back to your list, read it again, and choose blog title that is most appealing to you.

If you are very found of songs, then songs names can inspire you for your personal blog title. Make a list of all your favorite songs that are related to your blog topic. Then choose few names from this list. Within few hours you can add more songs names in your list if you want. You can combine two or more then two songs names in a way where they can create a unique blog title perfect of your need and blog topic.

Open browser and start browsing different advertisement related to your blog topic. Go to different blogs related to your topic, and browse them. Browse ads on them. Read them and write down some key words which inspire you. Soon you will have bunch of keywords to choose for your blog title. You should be creative while doing all of this.

You may also want to choose a personal blog title that has an available domain name. For example, one of my personal blog titles is Salad Sticks and www.saladsticks.com was available when I made my blog title. So, once you decide that a certain blog title is right for you, do a search in your address bar to make sure that it’s not already taken.

Create the perfect personal blog title by getting outside help. Gather up a few blog titles you think would fit for your blog and have someone you care about look them over. It can be a friend, family member, boyfriend, or girlfriend. Whoever it is, tell the person to offer ideas of other blog titles that can be used and ask him/her to help you choose the best title that will work. This way you’ll get another opinion other than your own to what personal blog title would be best. You can even ask a professional blogger for ideas as well.
